The St Helens Star is celebrating all that is great about education in our borough with our very first Education Awards, sponsored by Carmel College. The awards, which celebrate the good work and dedication in St Helens education system, also highlight innovation and best practice.
St Helens has some fantastic schools and we would like to acknowledge and reward excellence. The awards are sponsored by Carmel College, who have also sponsored the Lifetime Achievement award.
They will culminate at a presentation evening which will take place at the World of Glass, St Helens on Thursday June 16, 2016. The winners will attend, along with their guests, and our category sponsors.
Entries are invited from teachers, parents, governors, pupils and anyone with knowledge of a particular nominee. Please send as much supporting information as possible as to why you feel they deserve to win. Category criteria can be found on our website, www.sthelensstar.co.uk. To nominate please send your details, along with those of your nominee with any supporting evidence to Events Department, St Helens Star Education Awards 2016, The Academy, 138 Bridge Street, Warrington, Cheshire, WA1 2RU or send via email marking your subject line with ‘St Helens Star Education Awards’ to events@nqnw.co.uk. To arrive no later than May 20th, 2016.
